Way back when I was in college–and, my hasn’t the world changed since then, I fell in love with apologetics. I have long believed that the best way to represent Christ was “always to be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within.” That’s apologetics, being prepared to explain, defend, and advance our faith in Jesus Christ against all the arguments opposing it and Him.
For me, with a degree in physics and another in pastoral studies, that defense includes material from the Bible, history, science, and theology as well as testamonials and personal narratives of our experience with Christ. If anything the challenge is greater today. Where do we find the resources, especially if you’re not like me, having build a library for several decades? One convenient place, in this era, in on line, at sites such as Apologetics 315. This site has daily apologetics resources including audio, debates, podcasts, book reviews, and just about anything you could imagine in any form of media you like, especially books, which I like! I learned about it on Facebook on a fan page.
In this day of such convenient resources, no one can say, “I don’t know what to say.” Read, listen, or watch, at your convenience, and you will “always be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within you.”
